Structure of a Blog


The blog appearance nowadays include different items but most blogs have standard features and structure. The common features are:
  • Header with a menu or navigation bar
  • Main content area with latest blogs
  • Sidebar with social profiles, favourite content etc
  • Footer with relevant links like disclaimer, privacy policy, contact etc.

Difference between blog and website?

Well most of people will wonder what is the difference between a blog and a website? Today one cannot really differentiate in these two platforms. But a blog at first will be updated on a regular basis while website are static and mostly are not updated regularly. In a blog you can find the publishing date, author name at the end and comment on the post while these features are not available in a website.
